Some very positive changes to the Amateur UK Open.

Amateur UK Open Prize Fund will be guaranteed if 64 entries are received. We’re really close already, although we are expecting a flurry of entries once players get knocked out of the main UK Open.

If, for some reason, we don’t achieve 64 entries, then the same payouts will be guaranteed to the quarters, but not the last 16.

The two events that are being staged are subject to confirmation due to scheduling.

Event 1: (Double Elimination Race to 8, Loser’s Bracket Race to 8 also)

Winner – £1600

Runner Up – £800

Semi Finalists – £400

Quarter Finalists – £200

Last 16 – £100

Event 2: (Best of 3 sets, each set race to 5) This may go to double elimination if scheduling allows us to.

Entry of £150 secures your place in both events.

Event 1 will take place on 9th May and likely run to the last 16.

Event 2 will take place on 10th May and likely run to the last 16.

Last 16 for both events will be on the 11th and run to the finals.

Finals will be held on 12th outside of the main UK Open events.
