Introduction

The GB9 Ball Tour is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe environment for all participants, including players, staff, and spectators. By entering the GB9 Ball Tour, all players agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including disqualification, suspension, or permanent exclusion from the Tour.

1. Sportsmanship and Respect

• All players must demonstrate sportsmanship, integrity, and respect toward opponents, officials, staff, and spectators.
• Verbal abuse, intimidation, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct is strictly prohibited.
• Players must respect the decisions of referees and officials, even in cases of disagreement.

 

2. Dress Code

• Players must adhere to the GB9 Ball Tour dress code, which requires professional attire suitable for competitive play. Specific guidelines will be provided for each event.
• Clothing with offensive, discriminatory, political, or inappropriate messages is not permitted.

 

3. No Drugs Policy

• The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at any GB9 Ball Tour event.
• Players are also prohibited from competing under the influence of drugs or substances that impair performance, judgment, or behaviour.
• Players must comply with any drug testing protocols instituted by the GB9 Ball Tour or relevant governing bodies.
• Violation of this policy will result in immediate disqualification and potential further sanctions, including a lifetime ban from any GB9 event.

 

4. Alcohol and Substance Use

• Players must not consume alcohol during matches or in any way that compromises their ability to compete or participate professionally.
• Excessive consumption of alcohol in or around the tournament venue is prohibited.

 

5. Equipment and Venue Care

• Players must handle all equipment, including tournament-provided equipment, with care.
• Any damage to the venue or equipment caused by a player’s negligence or intentional actions may result in penalties and potential liability for repair costs.

 

6. Fair Play and Integrity

• Players must compete honestly and to the best of their ability.
• Match-fixing, collusion, or any other forms of cheating are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion from the Tour.
• Players must not gamble on matches or engage in any betting activity that could compromise the integrity of the competition.

 

7. Social Media and Public Representation

• Players are expected to conduct themselves respectfully on social media and in public appearances with regards to the GB9 Ball Tour.
• Offensive or inflammatory comments directed toward other players, officials, or the organisation are unacceptable.

 

8. Health and Safety

• Players are responsible for maintaining their physical and mental well-being during the Tour.
• If a player feels unwell or unfit to compete, they should notify the organisers immediately.

 

9. Compliance and Enforcement

• Players must comply with all event-specific rules, schedules, and procedures.
• Tour organisers reserve the right to investigate and address any breaches of this Code of Conduct.
• Disciplinary actions may include warnings, match forfeiture, fines, suspension, or permanent exclusion from the GB9 Ball Tour

 

Joining the GB9 tour constitutes complete and toal adherence to this  code of conduct.
